At 3 o'clock a prJic concert will be presented in the Dr. 'Steele Recital Hall. Light refreshments will be served in the Robertson Library, where visitors will be invited to take out Library Cards. A highlight of UPEI DAY will be the official presentation of a collection of graduation pictures from Prince of Wales College and St. Dunstan's University. The presentation will place the framed photographs on a permanent loan basis in the University's Robertson Library. The concept came about through consultations wim the Prince of Wales Alumni Association, the St. Dunstan's Board of Governors and the University Librarian Merritt Crockett. The presentation will be made on Saturday afternoon at 2 :45 by - Dr, Kent Ellis, President of the P.W.C. Alumni Association, and Charles Campbell, Chairman of the St. Dunstan's Board of Governors. Receiving the collections on behalf of the University will be University President Dr. Peter Neincke and NBrritt Crockett. Although the St. Dunstan's pictures remain in good condition, the Prince of Wales collection showed signs of aging. The display will hang in the Robertson Library lecture Theatre on Saturday. Due to the size of the display (101 pictures) it is not possible to have them on permanent exhibit. UPEI DAY visitors and graduates of the former institutions are invited to View the photographs. Anyone knowing who might have copies of the graduating class pictures from P.W.C. for the years 1940 or 1962 is asked to contact the University Librarian. Photocopies could be made of these originals in order to complete the P.W.C. collection. —TOPICS- Will KNOWN, CHARLOTTETOWN. * DOCTOR- HEADS BOARD Dr. Kenneth C. Grant has been named the second chairman of the University of Prince Edward Island Board of Governors. At a meeting of the Board on Monday, Sept. 18, the members elected the Charlottetown surgeon as Successor. "to the late Justice Trainor. Dr. Grant, who is presently Chief of Staff at the Giarlottetown Hospital, has been a member of the Board since its inception in 1969. During that time he has worked on numerous committees and was most of the clinic . > Student Union has agreed to donate a number of . cases of "beverages" toward a residence party recently the chairman of the Staff and Organizati Committee prior to his appointment its tenants turn out for the clinic. Dr. Grant's" selection comes as no surprise although no details were released about his appointment. Dr. Grant was one of only two members that have sat on the Board since 1969. The other, Wilbert McInnis, is chairman of the Finance Committee.
