Cover Illustration: This month’s cover comes from the pen of Ben Hoteling and is the Jack-in-the-Pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum Stewardsonii). One of the Island's most striking flowers, it is normally found in rich low woodlands, mucky shaded areas, shaded rich stream margins, or in intervals. This year the plant was blooming at Mooney's Pond in late June.
