Mrs. MacNeill was born in Wood Islands West. the daugh- mh. ter of Neil and Mary (Mac- Queenl MacNeill. For a number of years she resided In Alberta and British Columbia but later returned to the Island where she ‘ married Archie D. MacNeill of Little Sands. who predeceased her in 1927. She was a member of the United Church of Canada. and was always faithful to attend services of the Church. Gentle. quiet and unassuming in dispos- ition. she was a true and faith- ful friend. ever ready to help or cheer in time of need. She leaves to mourn one bro- ther. William. who resided with her: two sons. Nell. Little Sands. and Ralph. Toronto: and daughters. Katherine, (Mrs. James Han-Isl. Ottawa. and Elsie (Mrs. Alex Stewart), Char- lottetown. One daughter. Marion May. died in infancy. The funeral was held from Little Sands United Church un- der the direction of the Murray River Funeral Home. and was conducted by Rev. David Bar- se. Hymns sung were “The Lord’s My Shepher " and "All the Way My Saviour Leads Me." Pallbearers were M. A. Mac- Netl. Malcolm MacLean. M. A. Mackenzie. Edwin Mackenzie.
