Dr. Fisher. who was introduced by Dr. James I. Higgins. now of Char- lottetown and past president of the Association, took his audience on an imaginary world tour. Citing con- ditions in the countries of Europe and Asia and nearer home in south America; he painted a dis- turbing picture of the march of sommunism around the world. and its penetratlor into every nook and comer. threatening closely our own way of life. However he point- ed out that a great deal can still be done to combat that threat by preparing for the inevitable, and to the members of the Home and School Association, he said. falls the task "of co-operating to build better citizens of tomorrow in our children". Mrs. George Brookins presided. and a happy feature of the evening was the presentation of a gift in Dr. and Mrs. Higgins, who were valued members of the Association while residents of Ken- sington. Skin- ner's Pond. have received the sad news of the death in Rum- ford. Maine, of their son. Peter in his 57 year. A native of this Prov- ince. he went to the United States when he was about 20 and was back to visit his native province on several occasions. M. and BS. from the University licentlate of the Royal College of Physicians. .Dr. Robinson is no stranger to Prince Edward Island. As a mem- ber of the R..A.P'. he was station- ed at Charlottetown where he re- ceived his commission as Pilot 0!- ficer Navigator in 1941. After op- erational service with Bomber command and Service Training Command in England he returned to his medical studies and qualifi- ed in 1961. He practised at St. Mary's Hospital, Psddington, for two and s. half years before com- ing to this country. In 1953 he established a practise in Aiberton. Dr. Robinson brings with his wife. the former Dorothy 1-fol- gate of Wirksworth, England, and their two sons Alsn aged '7 and Nigel aged 8.
