The interest at ring- dsy. and inside the ring there was the sort of competition that warrants that kind of attention. The announcement from the official desk indicated that Eric Hurry of Winsloe had emerged as the premier breeder of the show and Harold Palmer and Son of Kensington merited the premier exhibitor's award. The premier brecder's award goes to the man who has bred the most point winners at the show. The premier exbihitor's award goes to the man who has shown the cattle that have won the most points. even though some of his animals were not bred on his farm. Owen Younker and Son were listed as very close runners up to Palmer. Guy Rodd and Ern- est F. Coies and Son were close behind Mr. Hurry for the Pre- mier Breeder's award. Although Mr. Rodd did not show any cattle in his own name. many of the prize winners were bred by him in his Brackley herd. Including several champions.
