An exceedingly pretty wedding was celebrated this afternoon at St. Panl’s Church, when the rector. Rey Leo Wil- lame, assisted by the Rev. W. H. Sampson, of St. John, N. B., united in marriage Miss Lillian Hammond Dodd, daugbter of Hon. Thomas W Dodd, to Mr. Harry E. Manov, barriater-at-law of Hali- fax, son of the late Edward T. Mahon. The ceremony was witnessed by a large congregation. Tne church was tastefully decorated by the brice’s triends with palms and golden rod set off by the bright coloure of autumn leavee. The bride, who was given away by her father, was atiended by Mies Wiuifred Cotion as msid of honor, while Miss Annie Mahon, sister uf tne groom, end Miss Ethel Davies, daughter of Sir Louis Davies, were brideemaids. The groom was supported by his cousin Mr. Fitzroy Biliot. of Halhfax, while Fred L. H aezard, M. D., and N. Maris Mille, altorney-at-law, fulfilled the duties of ut here, Toe bride was attired in a handsome gown of white moussteline de scie over ivory satin, a dainty fichu of chiffon and lace being clasped with a diamond and pearl pendant, the gift of the groom: The bridal veil was becomingly fastened with tiny clusters of orange bios-oms and lily of the valley,—and she carried a ehower bouquet of white roses and maiden bair fern. The maid of honor wore pale green orgacdie prettily trimmed with insertion of valenciennes lace with a dainty fichu. The bridesmaids wore white organdie over pink, designed in the same fashion, and picture hate of chiffon. They all wore initial clasps studded with pearls, the gift of the groom, and carried shower beuquets of pink carnations. Professor Earle pretided at the organ during the ceremony. A luncneon was served after the cere- mony at the home of the bride’s parents to immediate relatives and a few intimate friends.
