Jan. 8 - Jim Jenkins will be the quest speaker at the Natural History Society‘s Annual General Meeting with the presentation "Tuna Flights: A Story of Migration". The meeting starts at 7:30 pm at the Farm Centre on University Avenue in Charlottetown. Jan. 13 - A Natural History Society birding outing led by Eric Marcum starting from the Farm Centre on University Ave. at 8:00 am. This is an all day trip by car pool so please bring a lunch. It will be rescheduled if the weather is inclement. Feb. 5 - Glenn Roberts will be the quest speaker at the Natural History Society's Annual General Meeting with a presentation on astronomy. The meeting starts at 7:30 pm at the Farm Centre on University Avenue in Charlottetown. A field trip to view the stars and other night sky phenomena will be arranged for later in the week for those who wish it. Registration will be after the talk. Feb. 15 to 18 - A good way to beat the winter blues - participate in the 5‘h Annual Great Backyard Bird Count.
