     F The membership of the Charlotte- 
     
     town Branch of the Canadian Legion has 
     
     increased two-fold since the cessation of 
     
     hostilities with a further steady increase 
     
     from month to month. This has necessi- 
     
     tated greater accommodation in the pres- 
     
     ent building. The Branch provides a full- 
     
     time secretary-manager who is available 
     
     at all times to help Veterans who have 
     
     need of counsel and direction. The new 
     
     building will provide accommodation for 
     
     meetings, gatherings of Veterans, etc. as 
     
     well as canteen, reading room, writinl
