' The cargo was bound for Ha- vana. Cuba, and the steamship had been loaded in less than two days. Work of loading commenced on Sunday afternoon, continued all Sunday night and all Monday. The 1.066-Ion vessel arrived in George- town at one o'clock on Sunday afternoon after being brought into port by pilot Forden Gotell and co-pilot Victor Ralusc. He resigned after two terms on the job, owing to other of the C. N. R. station at Lot 40. We went to see this station and found the walls from the seats to the ceiling written over with names and filthy language. All the glass. broken out of one window, -12 panes. The door badly split and broken and the coal box kicked apart. We are sure the railway men did not do this dam- age and dirty work.
