To- day, Monday, the plow made s. trip through this district by way of Dundas to Souris in order to clear the blocked roads. The con- dition here is all the more amaz- ing when it is reported that west of this district there is no sign of snow. Usually this section is laying under a heavy blanket of snow. This year, however, this district is the first to receive the snow fall. It might presage a long winter, wihlch is always good for the curling and skating rinks.
