members ofthe 1'. P. s. 6. E. of
North Badeque were invited to a

beautifully fine a. large number turn-
ed out. The rink, under the manage-
me`ut of Mr. John Frlzzle. was only
started about a year ago. it is much
patronized, no rowdylsm is tolerated,
nnd the skating is nrstcinss. A think
grove of spruce surrounds. the inclo~
sure and is brilliantly lighted hy two
powerful gasoline lamps. After two
_hours of this exhilarating exercise an
invitation was given to the’ skaters
for coffee _and cake in the hafll near
by, this affair which resembled a -tea
party more than a lunch was thor-
oughly entered by ani. Music was nu-
nishod by Mrs. Earle Leard and Mrs.
Wallace Jenkins. After a short
speech by Prof. Ross and vote of
thanks tendered to the people of Cen-
tral Bedeque. all returned home feel-
ing( they had enjoyed themselves.
