South America where she was assigned in 1053. Sister Leo Marie. having completed five and one-half years service in the congregation of Maryltnoll sisters. pronunced her final vows on March 7. She is the former Miss Alice Gerald- ine Doiron. daughter of Mr. land Mrs. Leo D. Doiron. St. Charles. She is a graduate of the New Acadian School and St. Marys Convent. Souris. For two years she taught school in Charlotte- town. The motherhouse of her con- gregation is at Maryknoll, N. Y. Camera Club Holds Meeting ..'The regular meeting or the Montague Camera Club was held on Wednesday evening at the home of Vic Pepler. The meet- ing opened with the minutes of the last meeting which were read and approved. The monthly com- petition pictures for February are now on display in Pepler's win- down. Arrangements were made with several members to print pictures for the hospital one evening next week. and negatives were handed in. The rest of the evening was spent in general discussion and reviewing last years pictures taken by the club. and a gener- al idea illustrated by Vic Pep- ler of types of pictures wanted for the P. E. I. salon for the benefit of several new members. Entry forms and rules for the salon were passed to members. The next meeting will be held at Mrs. Danny Murray's. Sixteen members responded to roll call and there was one visitor present. The minutes of the last meeting were. read and approved. A sum of money was vot- ed towards the Presbyterian Home for Girls in Toronto. Also on display is a replica of a curling stone made in wood on which is over 200 curling pins from clubs from every province in Canada and some from the U.S. This has been donated to the club by Mr. L. H. Poole. an enthusiastic curler. Many other smaller cups complete the dis- play which is well worthy of be- ing viewed. be to reach some conclusions on the board outline of the agenda for the main conference and to decide upon an opening date. I am sure we all agree that the main conference will be an important occasion. and that to be successful. a good deal of careful thought and study should go into the preparations for it.
