Further notice is hereby given that 0
under the provisions of "'lhe Public
Roads Act, 1907," there will be due
am; payable for the year 1910, on the
lst day'of November next, by each
male .person between -the ages of
twenty-one and sixty years (except
mg Clgrgymen and Overseers) a tax
0| $1 per head: and upon all horses
over three years of age, owned by
gr in possession of any person resid
ing within this Province (excepting
horses owned by Clergymen and
(yvarsesrs) the sum of twenty-five __
cents each.
Taxes levied under the said Public
Roads Act are payable and collected
at the same time as the Land Tax
and by the same persons and .process
Notice is also hereby Elven th-at the
following persons have been appoint-
ed Collectors of Taxes for the year
1910 for the Townships and parts of
Townships (hereinafter called lots) in
this Province set 'opposite their res-
pective names. That said Collectors
will receive taxes pa able to them -b

the ratepayers in their several dis-
tricts at the _residences or offices res-
pectively of such Collectors up to the
15th day of December next. That
_immediately after that date the said
Collectors are required to call upon
the ratepayers who may not have
paid their taxes, andlf the ratepay-
ers then fail to pay the said taxes,
the Collectors are required to leave
a notice either personally or with
some adult member of his fa/mily, de-
manding payment of same within
fourteen days. After the expiration
of the said fourteen days the _Provin-
cial Treasurer is required to issue
Executions for recovery of all taxes
remaining unpaid.
Taxes may be paid at the Provin-
cial Treasury, Gharlottetown, up to
the 30th_day of November next, but
not after that date, excepting by
ratepayers in the Royalty of Char-
lottetown (for which no Collector is
appointed) who may pay their taxes
at the Provincial ,Treasury at any
time previous to issuing of Execu-
tions or Warrants for recovery oi
same.
A discount of flve per cent will he
allowed- on Land Tax paid on or bn-
fore the 30th day of November next.
No discount is allowed on Road Tax.
