Dr. Arthur Howe, native of Si. Eleonora The deceased, who was B0 years of age, was the former editor of the Brooklyn Eagle and was for years a member of the board of higher education in New York. He sold his home in Brook- lyn last May snd in August moved to Iermuda to live with his cousin, Mid, Sarah Barnett, her husband and three children. He had been ill for several weeks previous to his death. ' Dr. Rowe's- wife predeceased him lest year. They had no .child- ren.
