EYE INJURED-Many friends in this Province will be glad to hear that Rt. Rev. Dr. Robert John- ston, of Ottawa, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church ln Canada, is recovering here from an eye injury received in an unusual manner early last week near Lindsay. When a car in which the Moderator rode was passing another automobile, a small stone flew up from the sec- ond car's tires and smashed the windshield of Dr. Johnston's car. Our Vice President, Mrs. A. K. MacPhee, automatically became president. A feeling of sadness pre- vailed and only the necessary busi- ness was done. The Institute had sent flowers in fond remembrance and all members had personally expressed deepest sympathy to tho bereaved husband and family in their great loss.
