I lson of David Kenny and Ann Mc- Innis of Waterford, P.E.I.. and during his younger days owned and operated a fine saw mill. By his fine qualities of mind and heart, his optimistic temperament and loyal disposition he made many warm friends both in P.E. I. and N. B. who will learn with deep regret of his passing. About 40 years ago Mr. Kenny moved to N. B. where he became engaged in the agriculture indus- try until retirement 1'! years ago. There are left to mourn the loss of a devoted father, five sons and two daughters: Bernard of Hali- fax, N. 5.; Wilfred, Portland. Me; Richard, Alberta; George in Arl- zona; Edward, Isobel and Viola of Fredericton. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters. Mrs. George Bagley and Mrs. Pat- rick Britt of Portland. Maine. and James M. Kenny of Waterford. His largely attended funeral was held from the home of his broth- er. James Kenny, Waterford, to the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road. July 16 where his Requiem High Mass was sung by Rev. Emmanuel Richard who also officiated at'the grave. Pallbearers were Messrs. Char- les Kenny, Stephen Kenny, Ed- ward Kenny. Albert Kennedy. Ger- ald Fitzgerald, William Shea. Accompanying the remains from Fredericton to Waterford were his sons, Mr. Bernard Kenny of Hall- fax. Nainby performed the ceremony for the daughter of Mr. David B. Crosby. formerly of Bonshaw, P. E. I., and the son of Mrs. May Easterby, all of Edmon- ton. Mr. Crosble gave his daughter in marriage. For the nuptials the bride chose a -beige match-box style suit. Her hat was a pink meilusine model and she wore pink accessories. A white gardenia and rhinestone ear-rings were her only adorn- ments. Miss Bernice Tweter was the bride's only attendant. She wore a blue tailored suit complemented with navy and white accessories and white straw hat. Her carnage was of deep red roses. Bast. man was Mr. Eric Easterby and Mr. David Astiey and Mr. Allan Mawhinney ushered the guests. Following the service a recep- tion for 30 was held at the bride's home. A triple-tier wedding cake. set on a mirror base and surrounded by green fern, centred the bride's table which was laid with a lace cloth.
