I IN MEMORIAM GASTON DIFPUIS The death of Gaston Dupuis. age 3. occurred at Tenliskaming lins- -pital. Ontario. on December 7th. 1950. He was onploycd by the Therrlen Construction Company to drive a truck which stalled on a hill. Through an accident the wheels of another truck. from which he was to get help. and loaded with four .tons nf wet gravel. passed over his body Mr. Dtlpuis was a native of Mon- treal. but came with his wife. the former Edith Baker. to" Bristol. P. E. 1., some six years ago. Less than I. month before his death he went to Montreal to seek winter employment. and had accepted the job. which was fatal to him. for is week or so until a permanent job of a different kind would be avail- able. I Mr. Dupuis' parents predeceased him a few years. but he leaves to mourn his passing three brothers and four sisters. all of MoI1'tl'eal- and his wife and son Bryan of Bristol. He was buried from Bristol Uni- ted Church on December 13th He was a member of the United Church and he was seldom absent from his place in the choir. The people of all clemminations in the district crowded the church to pay their respects to one who was gen- ial. quiet and friendly with all. His minister. Mr. Mercer. said: , "We want to express our thanks to God for the one who came to live among us. and in a very gracious way shared with us his best. We shall remember our.brother-in-Christ as one who was cheerful. helpful and kind in spirit.
