Evidence was completed in the case against the man Dec. 30th and the case had been adjourned by Magistrate K. M. Martin until Tuesday. A Parkdale man pleaded guilty to a charge of vagrancy and was sentenced to 40 days in jail. Fines of $10 and costs or five days were handed out to an Edward Street man charged with being drunk and incapable and a Brackley Point Road _ resident charged with operating a taxi without a proper licence. A 20-day suspended sentence was given a Great George Street man when ne appeared on a charge of being drunk arid incap- able.
