CLOSING The annual closing exercises of Darllngton school took place re- cently and there was a large num- ber of parents. friends and chil- dren present. After some an especially softball, everyone school and enjoyed an abundant supply of ice-cream and cake. Chocolate bars. apples and oran- ges were also provided generously by the Women's Institute. After everyone had completely satisfied their appetites. prizes and grading Certificates were giv- en out by the teacher. The following prizes were award- ed: Prizes for -spelling-Grade 1.
