The old Shareholders were given the first opportunity of subscribing for the new issue of stock up to June 20th. As this date is passed and as there is still some of the stock left un- sold, it is now thrown open to ublic subscription This is not a recapitahzation as the term is undersfccd by fox- financier. It is simply an addition to the ranch. The price of the old foxes is not increased, but is lc-ft at the figure _a which they were put in. The young are placed in the ranch on the basis of $16,000 per pair. _ Tins includes lthe ranch, the builrling of additional pens and all other incidental ex- penses, except the keep of the foxes. The Ranch and Management The Company in addition to the foxes owns the ranch and two acres of land on which the ranch is situated. The ranch is located on the faim of J. M.McLean Esq., New Perth. Mr. McLean is ranch manager and has proven himself a most valuable asset to the share- holders. He is one of the Company’s largest shareholders, and the Directors have entered into a most satisfactory agreement with him, .whereby he feeds and cares for the foxes forthe comiiig year at a price that will only amount to a fraction of 1 p. c. of the value of the estima- be added, contains four pairs of foxes, one year old, that have this year produced fourteen pups, ted increase. - _ When we come to consider that the ranch in addition tothe seven pairs of young to anyone will grant that it is the most attractive investment oii the fox market today. The Foxes Not only are all the foxes eligible to registration in Class A. but the Directors hold the certificates of the breeders of the oiiginal four pairs to the effect that all are pure Island breed, not one of the number containing one drop of foreign blood, as may occur in the ordinary Class A. fox. They are of a prolific strain, as the results of this your prove. Fecundity is an in- ve lierited trait, and will be transmitted tothe ropzeny. Hence f e Company expects to ha D . . next season eleven pairs of foxes from which large litters may with confidence be anticipated. e block of the stock and, owing to the record of the ranch and the low capitalization of the foxes, we expect the balance of the stock to be bought up in the course ofthe next few This ad vi ill appear for one week only.
