"B" Company 105th Battalion, who
was taken ill a week ago. The do-
ceased who was ti. general favorite
with his comrades was removed to the
Charlottetown Hospital suffering from
a heavy cold. from which pneumonia
developed. He was attended during
his illness by his brother-in-law Dr_
_Sullivan of Souris but despite the best
oi' nursing he gradually became worse
anti peacefully passed to rest yester-
day. The luneral will take place this
afternoon ti; 2.30, and. it the weather
permits will be a_ Military one. The
-funeral cortege will go direct from the
Hospital to the train leaving for Sou-
rls at 3 o'clock.
