The I-’eople's Thcvitre, formerly
Wonderland, was in gala form last
night. The program was exceptionally
good consisting of chrce new reels of
pictures, one of them the beautifully
colored "Legend of King Midas."
The comedy element was in plentiful
cuautity and the great western pic-
ture was cnthiisiastically applauded.
P. J. Gillis sang for the first time in
t-he People's Theatre and was w-arni-
ly welcomed. Adainis and Elliot con-
tributed a bright, snappy sketch
brimming over with laughter, and
were recalled several times. lt was
one of the finest programs the Peop-
l>e's Theatre has had for a long while
and one of the most appreciated oneq
ns well.
