MARGUERITE CROSBY.
The death occurred under peculiarly
sad circumstances on Saturday last oi'
Miss Marguerite Crosby. daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Abner Crosby, Bonshaw.
Miss Crosby had not been feeling well
for some days and on Saturday came
to the City accompanied by her father
and mother to have a simple opera-
tion performed, the removal ot her
tomils. She wa.-i taken to the Prince
Edward Island Hospital and died sl-
most immediately after her ariival
there, heart failure being the cause.
She was twenty years of age and was,
physically and mentally, a beautiful
girl and a favorite with all who knew
her. Hai- parents, to whom the sud-
'den blow was a terrible one, have the
heartfelt -sympathy of a wide circle of
friends in which the Guardian joins.
The body was taken home Saturday
nightly and _the funeral will take place
today at one o'ciock from her late
