Tralnor occurred at his home 61 Bayflcld St., on Friday March 23rd after an illness of several months. The late Mr. Tralnor was born in Gleniinnan, son of James Train- or and Mary Ann Cummlskcy on January 10th, 1888. He received his primary educat- ion ln the parish school later at- tending Prince of Wales College where he received his teacher cert- ificate. He taught for several years in districts surrounding his home. Following this he returned to farming on the old homestead where he remained until thirteen years ago when he took up resid- ence in Charlottetown. He was em- ployed for two years with the Mac- Donald Feed Agency before he he- came associated as clerk with the K. and R. Stores. Charlottetown. He was still employed with this Current receipts. The total of 4.451.000 shares traded was only slightly ahead oi Wednesday's figure. The number of Issues traded was dis lowest in everal weeks. Utilities were in demand. led by international Utllitiu. up 01.25. Imperial 011 was the most active issue, adding Vs. He served for many years as secretary-treas- urer of Fort Augustus Dairy Co- operative Association Ltd. a posit- ion he retained at the time of his death. His outstanding service to this association over a long num- ber of years was recognized by his re-election to office at each annual meeting. A member of the Benevolent Irish Society he became treasurer of that organization in 1954. His service in this executive position was fully appreciated by all mem- bers who termed Mr. Tralnor one of the most efficient gentlemen ever to hold office in this fraternal organization. A staunch supporter of the Lib- eral Party. Mr. Trainor worked on poll committees in the Third Dis- trict of Queens in several elections. Mr. Tralnor was twice married. His first wife Stella Morris of Donn ” i whom he married in 1936.1 predeceased him in 1944. From; this marriage there were two. daughters. Mary Elaine. at present a student at St. Dunstan's Umver- slty. and Joan who died in infancy. In 1948 he married Catherine Curiey, Auburn. who survives him. The late Mr. Tralnor is also sur- vied by two brothers and two sist- ers. namely William and Peter. Mount Ryan. Florence. Mrs. Charl- es Quinn. Watervale and Ellie, Mrs. John Morres. Charlottetown. His funeral which was Very largely attended. was held ironi his late residence on Monday.
