Some Government Some of the Liberal candidates are advertising themselves in the press with the letters 'MLA' after their names. This is still more evidence that some of them really don't know what this election is dl about. The lost legislature has been dissolved. Absolutely none of the candidates now running is on MLA. In power for twenty years. our Liberal friends seem to think they will be in forever. It looks doubtful. There is e Llbercd advertisement in yesterday's press that is interesting. It is one of the smaller ones. It features a large eyeball looking at some pennies. nickels and quarters. The advertisement tries to tell us that the Motheon Govern- ment koeps "a watchful eye" on spending your money. They'll never prove that by us. The day before yesterday the Motlieson supporters bought and paid for is full page in the daily press which was left completely blank. The watchful eye of nobody saw that one. Estimates vary as to how much money was uselessly tossed down the drain - someone said it was i about S310. all told. but a million dollar bungle. As everyone knows. this money comes from the Govern- ment's inner circle of wealthy friends. Although it hasn't too many friends. evidently the Government Party has some wealthy ones. The modest men and women of this Province - many of whom dig deep in their pockets to h e I p support worthwhile charities and other good causes - must wonder how a can be so rich in money yet so poor in ideas. All the Government Party did was stand on the main street. set fire to 3310 and throw it away. Some fun. Some Government. The Conservative Porty's 15-point program for better gov- ernment and a better Province appears in today's paper. The Liberal-Party has been waiting for it with some anxiety. Now they have It. You will find in the Conservative Platform is positive pro- grain to assist some of our more needy citizens. Do not be- lieve it when your tottering Government says it can't be done. The Government Porty uses its money to flaunt in the faces of the people. A Conservative Government will use the tax- peyer's money wisely and for the common good. G0 AHEAD!
