Her remains were conveyed tu the Family burial ground, old Church Yard, Dumfries. At Cove Head, on the 14th ult., of Brain Fever, Catharine, daughter of the late Malcolm Siaw, of Brackley Point, aged 17 years. Her ead was peace. County Jail was destroyed by fire on the morning of Dee. 16. The jailer and his family escxped ; the prisoners also escaped.
