Tile President then paid tribute to the Deacon in charge of Port Hill Mr. Coleman and stated that on- thuslastic Committees had been torlned in each of the three con- gregations in that Parish. The President also brought the good news that the Parish of St. Eleanore was the first to report its subscriptions as exceeding ‘their objective, viz. $750.00 with (over $1300.00 subscribed and still ‘going strong. Snlrnnereido Par- ish has also gone over the top, its objective being $2500.000 and $2749.00 subscribed with more to come. In Crapaud Parish the campaign starts tomorrow but $600.00 has already been subscrib- ed. These subscriptions bring the total for the Island up to well. over $12,500.00. These splendid results forcibly drove home to those present that Island people are beginning to realize the fact that the objective ‘set for the Island will in due time he fully reached. Mr. C. l-i. B. Longworth spoke ,0! the splendid work being done .by Dr. Moore in several ways for the Church of England in this Province, and expressed the hops that the President will soon return to the Island.
