The interior has undergone a thorough course of renovation and re-decoration and an up-to-date steam heating plant has been installed. These improve- ments will place this favourite house in the front rank of places of amusement in Eastern Canada. The painting and decoration has been done under the personal supervision of Mr. W. Vincent, whose master hand is re- sponsible for the many artistic en- richments which the walls in the in- terior have received. The roof has been executed in a colour scheme of lcream wi'th white mouldlngs. Round the walls near the edge of the root' a renaissance frieze in bold relief gives a fine rich effect. Smaller moulding ornamentation runs round thearches, and 0lJl0l'l§ Diillels decorate the front of the gallery. The walls are finished in a rich crimson. A large cluster of shaded lamps occupies the centre of the ceiling. while antique bracket lights project from the lower walls. The walls of the foyer have been treated in hands-ome shades of fawn and green. Heavy new swing doors have been added) and new lighting ar- rangements iutr duced. The wooden floor of the entrance hall has been re- placed with _ii 'tiling composition known as Petrosile which is practi- cally indestructible. The woodwork throughout is finished in mahogany. while the floors, aisles, steps, etc., have been‘fitted with heavy linoleum.
