Iii vandalism MARY MANNING MACDONALD On June 16th there passed peace- iully to her eternal reward alter a short illness in the Charlottetown Hospital, Mary Manning MacDon- ald, dearly beloved daughter oi m. and Mrs. John E. MacDonald, ct Sourls. The decease’ was {or some years a member ct the teaching stai! o! the Sourls High School, which posi- tion she tilled with distinction 1nd ability. Her iuneral on Saturday morn- ing, June 18th, to Saint Mary's Rn- man Catholic Chuich, was very largely attended by rho citizens oi Sourls, the pupils oi tho Bigh School among whom she labored so zealously, and by many oi her iriends and acquaintances iron surrounding districts. A solemn Mass oi Requiem was celebrated by Father Eugene Murray, assisted by Father Basil Crokon. Tho ser- vice at the grave was nducted by Father Murray, assisted by the church choir. The pall bearers were Russell Leard, George Fraser, Stewart Weir, Louis Gallant, Arthur MoCslluiii and Earl Grant. Her death at the early age oi twenty-three years comes as r great shock to her wide circle o( friends and they will shore tht griei oi the Iamlly by whom she il so dearly loved and to whom shl was so devotcd.—R. l.
