McNeill and Grady present. The meeting was called to consider the paving of the intersection of North Market Street with, Church Street and Central Street and other matters pertaining to the laying of permanent streets. It was moved by Councillor McNeill, seconded by Coun Grady and carried that the trustees of the Prince County Hospital be re- quested to grant the Council permis- sion to do whatever is necessary to tersedion of North Market Street with Church and Central Streets. Coun. Phillips explained the position t1 which he wished to have Mr. Mac- Millan appointed and a motion was carried that Mr. James McMillan be ezgaged in permanent greet work at a wage o! 40 cents per hour to take charge and keep the time oi all men engaged on this work. excepting those working on the finishing.
