A horrible murder was committed this’ morning in a restaurant kept by John Ben- son, 4 Swede. He had been drinking with @ pistol shot and she fell dead. The! woman had been leading a dissolute life and cursed her husband when he accused her of , infidelity to her marriage vows, As soon as the murder had been committed Benson gave himself up and pleaded justification. The murderer also fired at a man named Frank Singer who was in the house at the time and is said to have had improper re- lations with Benson's wife.
