A irimni' gathering of young people
and of a few no longer young, took* place
on Thursday evening, Jan. 31st at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bowness,
Norboro. Instrumental music was fur-
nished by Mr. Mont Harding cn the violin
and by Mr. Horatio Bowness on the auto-
harp. Miss Fairlie Durant of Margate
gave a comic reading which evoked con-
siderable mirth, and Mr. H. Bowness
delighted the company by several humor-
ous selections given in his own inimitable ‘
style. A whistling solo was very sweetly
rendered by Mr., Andrew Humphrey.
Music, conversation,laughter, and games
made the pleasant evening pass all too
quickly, and in the wee sma' hours all
dispersed to their homes. unanimously
voting Mr. and Mrs. Bowness tl model
host and hostess and wishing them health
and prosperity in the voyage of life on
which they have so recently embarked.

A CAUSE 0F HEADACHE.

Over-Looked.
Headache isa symptom, an indication
of derangement orsdisease in some organ,
and the cause of the headache is diflicult
tolocate because so many diseases have
headache as a piominent symptom; de-
rangement of the stomach and liver,
heart trouble, kidney disease,lung trouble

headaches and if we could always locate

catnrrh so convenient and afective as
