December 13th., mem- bers of the Rustico calf club along with many adults from the vicinity- gathered at the community hall, south Rustloo. to hear club mem- bers John Pineau and Bernard Blanchard tell of their recent trip to Toronto at the time of the Royal Winter Fair. John and.Bcmle were club judging team and represented this province in judging competi- tions at the Royal Winter Fair. and complete reports of their journey and the several tours and other functions in which they took part. , Words of thanks to John and Bernie and hope for future good clubs at Rustico were expressed by Mr. S.C. wright, Provincial De- partment of Agriculture. This club conducts its boslncss very efficiently and opened their meeting by singing "O Canada" and closed it with the National Anthem. This is the only calf club on the Island -which opens and closes its meetings in this manner and it is verv commendable. Their next meeting will be held at the home of Urban Laughlin on January 9th.
