The evening's entertainment ln- cluded vocal solos by Mr. A. R Glllis and Mr. Marcus Calder; a step dance by Mr. Hugh McKay; and a one act playette, "Mrs. Mc- Gulre at the Employment Bureau." Houle. who at the time of his death was grand representat- ive for the Marltimes. In these unsettled times it was necessary for Odd Fellows to keep before the world the things for which the Order stood, Mr. Mc- Lure said in the course of a brief address. They were: consecration in work and loyalty to God and fellow man. Grand Warden Gill. representing the Grand Master. declared that in Odd Fellowship and kindred organizations lay the hope of dem- ocracy.
