Mr. Gallant, while working as stevedore on the potato boat Fran- cis Chorin. slipped on the icy dock and fell into the ship's hold about 2) feet below, striking his head on a steel rail. He was rushed to the Prince County Hospital where it was found that he was suffering from a fractured skull together with concussion.
