‘ Family, Margate.
On the evening of Friday the 27th
‘in_st, a _number of George Murray’s
friends in connection with the Pres-
byterian Church at Kensington, hav-
ing heard of his decision to leave his
home for the North West, met. at
his home at Margate to express their
regret at his departure from their
midst, and to tender him their best
wishes for the future.
A. 11'. McMurdo was appointed
ehairnrari' for the evening, and a
short but interesting program was
carried out, including an address
read by the pastor Rev A. D. Stirl-
ing an-d the presentation of a beauti-
ful Bible and also a nicely framed
photograph oi the minister and eld-
urs of the congregation. A pleasant
hour was then spent in listening to
short speeches interspersed with
music suitable for the occasion. The
speakers each expressed their _sorrow
at losing a genial companion a good
noigh-bor and a loyal citizen, and as-
sured Mr Murray and family of their
best wishes lor the future an-d a
green place in memory through the
coming year. .
