Canadian Pacific Airlines. which operates a Vancouver-Tokyo-Kong Kong service on a temporary basis. will get the route permanently as the Canadian line designated un- der the new pact. Japan has no line flying to Van- couver at present. but Japan Air Linea operates a trans-Canada service between Tokyo and San Francisco. It likely will be chosen by Japan to land and do air busi- ness at Vancouver whenever the line is ready to direct a service to the Canadian west coast. .
