There was a splendid sailing breeze from the north west, and the boats went down to the asylum buoy in quick time. The course was the same as in the last race— twice around the harbor course. The Flirt quickly took the jead and when starting Ou the second round was a little over @ minute ahead of the Report—the winner in many a previous contest. Tae race between these two boats was very close all through as was also the race between the Kescue and Stranger.
