The many friends of Mrs. James Reilly, Gasperaux, who has been undergoing treatment in the Prince Edward lsland Hospital, will be pleased to learn that she is able to be home again with her family. A very successful Masquerade Dance was held in Sturgeon Hall on Friday evening, October 29th. Many hilarious costumes were worn. which provoked a. great deal oi merriment among the audience who enjoyed the entertainment. The proceeds were in aid of the school. At 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 80th. Montague United Church was the scene of a wedding of wide interest, when Jean Florence, only daughter of Rev. A. S. and lvirs. Adams, was united in marriage to Norval Llewellyn Eldridge. son of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Eldridge, oi Beaver Harbour. N. B. Mr. Adams. father of the bride, performed the ceremony. The church was decorated with s. profusion oi ferns and autumn flowers and made a beauti- ful setting for the bridal party. The winsomo bride looked charming as she entered the church on the arm oi her brother, Donald, who gave her in marriage; with her suit in American Beauty rose shade, she wore hat and accessories of cobble- stone grey with corsage oi deep cream roses. Miss Lydia Eldridge, sister oi the groom. was bridesmaid. She wore a brown suit with matching hat and pink accessories. Her ge was of Bettertimo roses. The groom was suportod by his friend.
