Hundreds of people were fascin- ated by what appeared to be an ordinary brass faucet suspended in mid-air and from which con- tinuously flowing a stream of pure water into a dninklng glam. Many were the explanations offered by the know-it-ails, but to the aver- age passer-by. the whole affair remains a mystery. In any event this window display has proved very attractive. REBEKAH LODGE MEETING -The regular meeting of Acme Rebekah Lodge was held in the lodge rooms Thursday evening with Miss 'I'helma Larter, P.N.G., presiding. There were nineteen members present. Mrs. Frances Shaw reported that her committee met Tuesday evening and present- ed a. farewell gift to Mix Alve Brehaut who left yesterday on an extended visit to New Jersey, U. S. A. He emphasized the importance of proper lighting and said: "A pic- ture is produced by light and dark tones, and in a portrait these tones are obtained entirely by the different arrangement of lights".
