Styling and engineering details. covering 19 models, were announ- ced by Buick today. Price tags lower by from $65 to $310 were announced on seven oi them in the Super and Headmaster lines. An entirely new engine has been produced for the Super series. Changes have been made in the Headmaster and Special series to give increased performance. Buick ls adding s deluxe model to its Special serles_ The Buick torque-converter transmission con- tinues standard on the big Road- mastcr models. Adapted to the Headmaster and Super series ls the combination grille and bumper introduced sev- eral monihs ago on Buick! new Special series cars. With this treatment Buick has been able to shorten over-all length oi the Super and Rosdmaster models by slightly more than ilve inches without curtailing wheelbase. The Jetback. an ultra-streamlined body with a sweeping back, is used in ,iour door, six passenger sedans as well as two door designs in the Spec- ial series.
