     Many purple fringed orchids along trail at Selkirk on Jul. 19. Numerous showy Lady 
     
     Slipper along a stream in St. Charles on Jul. 21 (GM). It was an unprecedented, warm 
     
     spring. The first hay cut in the Milton area was on June 1st. There were reports of 
     
     very low Bobolink nest success because of the early harvest. Many tiger swallowtails 
     
     flying for honeysuckle nectar in Donagh on Jun. 11 (JP). 
     
    
   
   
    
     Many reports of Red Foxes (DO, LY, JDM, BB). Coyote - young of the year dead on road 
     
     in Morell (GK), 1 seen near Priest's Pond on Oct. 3 (RC, LT, RP, JDM). Melanistic 
     
     snowshoe hare in Donagh in November and December (RPh, JDM). Melanistic red squirrel
