Oct. 21 at 3,00 p.m. Llrge attendance re- quested. ..'MlSllON BAND MEETS-The regular meeting of the Mission hand of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Montague. was held at the menu on Saturday. Oct. 10. under the leadership of Mrs. D. A. Campbell and Miss Margaret MacLure. There were Iiitccn mem- bers present. TWO hlimnl. "005 Secs The Little Sparrow Fall" and ”Jeaus Loves Me." were sung. This was followed by a prayer by Miss MacLure. Peggy Fraser was ap- pointed secretary for the year. An interesting Biblical story was read by Miss MacLure. A number of Biblical puzzles were then pre- sentcd and the winners were Vai- erie Judge, Marlene MacGowan mu Peggy Fraser. The meeting rinsed with the Mizpah benedic- tion. after which a treat of candy nas served by Mrs. Campbell. ..'LODGE MEETING. - The regular weekly meeting of the Hill- side Lodge was held on Tuesday night with N. G. Gordon Coffin, presiding. There were 22 members and eight visitors present. Several accounts and routine correspond- ence were dealt with in the usual way. The Initiatory Degree was again conferred on three candi- dates namely, Alexander MacKen- na. Brooklyn. Reginald Barwisc and William Lee, Charlottetown. D. D. G. M. Lewis Stewart thanked the Lodge for their kindness in conferring the Degree on the town candidates from the city. several other Charlottetown Brothers com- plimented the Degree team on their excellent presentation. Brother William MacLean was Degree Master and Brother W. A. Hilchey acted as Noble Grand. D. D. G. M. stewsrt advised the members that the City Lodges will confer the First Degree on all the new mem- bers that are eligible. Brother Bruce MacPhoe with the aid of the lunch committee served hinch at the close of the meeting.
