The Marian Hal] Pit Bulls have beaten the En- gineers AGAIN. This time the game was hockey and not football. The Pit Bulls had an astounding 6 points while the Engineers barely saved their pride with 1. What a game!! This puts Mar- ian’s Pit Bulls on top, both game wise and penalty wise. Thus far this season, Mar- ian has sustained one loss in hockey or football and holds the record for the most penalties in hockey. The was well played by the Pit Bulls who unleashed some vi- cious body checks. When asked to comment on the game, Greg “the Fly” Flynn stated, “The Engineers did not game not have enough stamina to keep up with our fast paced European style of hockey.” It was mentioned by another player that Brady MacVar- ish skated rings around the Engineers and when asked his opinion, the modest Mr. MacVarish had no comment. John Dalton, Coach of the Marian Hall Pit Bulls had this impression of the game, “it was dirty, rotten and un- fortunately, not enough peo- ple got hurt.” The Marian Hall Fresh- men were out to the game in full force and one. Tony MacKenzie was heard to say,Perhaps if the Engineers took up a sport more suited to them, such as needlepoint, they might be able to beat us. But then again, they'd likely just end up just beat- ing themselves. The Hallow’een weekend was a suiccess for Marian Hall as they won all three of their heats in the Red Rock Challenge. This was quite an. accomplishment consider- ing most of the other teams cheated. The Engineers more than anyone as they kicked their orange over the finish line in the pantyhose orange shuffle. The fun re- ally started when the three contestants from each team were asked to chug a pitcher of draught using straws and when the Marian team fin- ished in twenty seconds, no one was surprised. Marian Hall Joke of the Week Question: What do you call one hundred En- gineers at the bottom of the ocean? Answer: A good start!! - lane was a cess. All who participated thought the outing “very re- freshing”.
