A severe electric storm passed ovcr
Marie and St. Peters Bay last Tucs-
duy 16th. The lightning was par-
ticularly vlvid, but no serious harm
was done.
Mrs. Florrie Cavanagh, Earnscliile,
returned home yesterday evening from
n pleasant visit at her old home in
Cardigan, and with her cousin, Mrs.
Daniel Stewart, New Perth West.
Mrs. Murphy of Toronto, Ont., was
a passenger leaving Charlottetown
this morning on return. She was ac-
companied by her son, Rev. 'l‘. W.
Murphy, as far as Summerside.
Judge Fitzgerald, J. J. Johnson,
G. S. Inman and Wm. Moran, Char-
lottetown, were passengers returning
from Georgetown this morning after
attending the Supreme Court, which
finished last evening.
S. D. McNeill, York, has sold his
valuable property at that place and
will shortly move to St. Peters. Mr,
and Mrs. McNeill will be greatly
missed as they were deservedly popu-
lar in this section of the country.
Miss Margaret A. Carter. Revere,
Mass, left for Tignish_on last Thurs-
day on a three months visit to her
brother Charles and Mrs. Carter. Be-
fore returning she will go on a brief
visit to her sister Mrs. Richard Noo-
nan, Willow Grove, Palmer Road.
