DISTRIBO- THE annual examination of the classes at St. Dunstan’s College was held yesterday forenoon. Among those present were His Lordship Bis- hop MelIntyre, Very Rev. James Mac- donald, V. G., Rev. Drs. Chaisson, Walker and Grant, Rev. Angus Macdonald, Father Mahar, (Indiana,) and many other clergy- men from different parts of the Island. The chief examiners were Professor Caven, Mr. toche, Mr. McSwain and Dr. Conroy. The pupils acquitted themselves in a highly creditable manner. In tke afternoon at three o’cleck the stu- dents were massed in the recreation hall, where the distribution of prizes took place. Among those in attendance were His Honor Lieut.-Governor Macdonald and Mrs. Mac- donald, Owen Connolly, Esy., and Mrs. Connolly, Dr. McLeod and Mrs. McLeod, James Byrne, Esq., C. C., and Mrs. Byrne, D. O'M Reddin, Ksq., aud Mrs. Reddin, and many other parents of pupils and friends of the institution.
