Four Casting Campbells Act I.-Executing single, double and full twisting somersaults as they swing with perfect gusto and ease through the air from the arms of one another, the Four Casting Campbells have well earned the title of Americifs Premier Flyers. The Troupe, consisting of three men and one woman, works from a lofty rigging, at a greater height and casting from a greater distance than any other similar act. There is nothing that has ever been attempted or accomplished by casting aerialists that is not incluudcd in the routine of the Campbells. By no means the least daring is the lady member of \the Troupe, who accomplishes a full twisting double somersault in mid-air. This attrac- tion heads the strongest program of Free Attractions ever presented by the management of the Exhibition. Act 2. As the second half of their offering, the Casting Campbells present a novelty known as a Bounding Bed Competition. This is one of the most ludicrous acts in the world. An immense landing net, such as is used as a safety catch for aerialists, is used, and prizes are offered to candidates who are able to walk, turn somersaults, or do any of the simple tricks demonstrated by the members of the Troupe. The amazing part of this act is the fact that it looks to be such an easy matter of ac- compllshment. The competition never fails to bring out at least a score of candidates from the onlookers for the prizes and their grotesque and comical antics prove one of the comedy features of every performance. JAMES PATON _ President THREE GREAT TROUPES FROM NEW YORK l. THE FOUR CASTING CAMPBELLS, greatest aerialists in the world, 2 Acts. 2. THE THREE DEKOES, a trio that stands for originality and com- edy, 2 Acts. 8. ROBERTA’S ANIMALS. A splendidly presented comedy circus, which will be a never-ending source of delight and entertainment. Three Dekoes Act 1. A new concoction flavored with foreign features is seen in the presentation otfered by the Three Dekoes who will also appear in front of the Grandstand this year. This trio comprises a peppy, titian haired girl~and two“ comiques. The majority of their original stunts being accomplished on stilts. In fact they do far clcverer tricks hamper- ed by stilts than the average acrobat accomplishes on the ground. They never fail to provoke spontaneous, health-giving laughter and an atmos- phere of "continuous merriment and hilarity by their extremely funny and ridiculous pantominical absurdities. Act 2. You should not miss the side-splitting burlesque on the Tun- ney-Dempsey bout as presented by J ean and Gabe. It is, beyond a doubt, the choicest tid-bit of natural, wholesome humor ever witnessed and is an epic that will be remembered for many a long year. A howl of laughter greets their very appearance which is grotesque, to say the least of it, and their tactics in the arena are so ludicrous that even the pro- verbial cat would double up and die laughing each separate one of its nine lives away. Roberta’s Animals A never-ending source of delight and entertainment will be witnes- sed in Roberta's Animals, one of a well arranged programme of Free At- tractions which have been engaged to appear in front of the Grandstand this year. a It is a splendidly presented comedy circus participated in by a lady, two men, two ponies, six- dogs, two monkeys and a cnntakerous mule. Miss Roberta, a diminutive, peppy young lady presents the oifering; the animals willingly obeying her slightest gesture with a gusto that demonstrates clearly that kindness and patience only have been used in their training for the routine adopted, which is entirely new and diver- sified. An exhibition of side-splitting propensities is given by “Side-Winder" the Mule- who resents every advance made and evades every attempt made to mount him. Smart costuming, well groomed animals, and spick and span appurtenances tend to make the oflering one that will be ap- preciated by every class of audience.
