Deaih Yesterday Of Summerside Business Man The death occurred at his home in Summerslde yesterday of Mr. G. Edgar Clark. one of Summersldes most prominent business men and one who was held in the highest esteem by friends and business as- sociates alike for his many ster- ling qualities and his friendly nature. The late Mr. Clark. who was in his 79th year. was born in Vic- toria, P.E. 1.. a son of the late Captain George and Mrs. Clar . He came to Suminerslde nearly years ago after he had learned the tailoring trade at Cr-apaud Comer under the late John Williams. Here he worked for s. time in the employ of the late William A. Stewart and later for a brief per- iod he moved to Newcastle. N. 3.. where he resided and carried on his trade. Returning, to- Bumineraide he formed a partnership with the late Carey Bteeves-and for some years they inaintaincd a business stand on Water Street. On the death of Mr. Bteeves he became associated with the late Wilzhliun Buchuuisri and for some years the well known arm of Clark and Buohannsn rep- resented the finest in tailoring ex- cellence in this province.
