terday mor11ing at 5.30 a.m., after
an lllnoss extending over .several
months of Mr. Celestine McLellan,
brother oi’ Mr. Sextus McLellan of
this City and a native oi’ Grand River.
The late Mr. McLellan who was en-
gaged in the ladies tailoring in Hali-
fax conducted n. most successful busi-
ness and his death will be deeply felt
by a. wide circle of friends there who
will sincerely sympathlsc with his
wife and family. In former years Mr.
McLellan was associated with his
brother Sextus in business here and in
private life won for himself a very
wide acquaiutanceship.He also loaves
two brothers in Grand River.

Church at Belmont, March 7th. Alth-
ough the air was cold, a representa-
tive number gathered. On the plat-

An important feature ot' the after-
noon session was a Symposium on
'nethods of Soul Winning led by Rev.
'.. E. Ackland, to which Rev. C. E.
Peterson, Rev. A. A. Gates and Rev.
R. N. Rand were tho principal speak-
ers. The W. M. A. S., then engaged
'na missionary service. led by Mrs.
ludson Simpson of Belmont. At this
:ervice Rev. R. N. Rand delivered an
~ddress on Foreign Methods in Soul
Winning.
