Sinnott and Mr. Frank Dunllhy. who was making his home with him for the winter, re- turned home around midnight and as the night was cold made on a good fire before retiring. Some time later Mr. Dunphy was awak- isned by the crackling of the fire, and to his horror saw the entire end of the house in llama. He had trouble in getting Mr. Sin- nott awake and just as the men got. out. the upper floor where they were'sieeping fell in. A few min- utes more and they might have been burned to death.
